About Feng Shui
Classical Feng Shui is based upon using the principles observed and discovered in China over five thousand years ago. These principals include the use of Feng Shui Astrology (Person & Building) to harmonize the flow of Chi (energy), the Universe is made of different types of Chi; art of arrangement of objects within the environment; the grouping and aligning of people so that they can receive this increased positive energy from the environment. The principals of Classical Feng Shui have remained unchanged since their inception, but have been adapted to meet the needs of modern architecture in United States, Europe and throughout the entire World. They are now being successfully applied, not only to homes, but also to high-rise buildings with controlled internal environment systems. Western Science is applying and acknowledging Feng Shui as a natural science and art similar to the other well know Chinese natural traditions of acupuncture, acupressure, and herbs. Classical Feng Shui has worked and been effective for over five thousand years and continue to do so throughout the entire World.
The study of Classical Feng Shui includes determining the form and shape (geography of landscapes, mountains, and water) within an environment, understanding the Lo Pan (Chinese compass), understanding how the life force distributes and travels (Metaphysics), and how time and space measurements will influence the environment (Flying Stars). Therefore, the interpretation of Feng Shui incorporates proper alignment of the environmental forces as well as arrangement, placement, harmonizing and re-balancing to create the best conditions for each person uniquely to create harmony, prosperity, and restoring balance to one’s life.
